What is Pro-Nox?

Pro-Nox, commonly referred to as “laughing gas,” is a mixture of 50% nitrous oxide and 50% oxygen. It is a safe and effective analgesic (pain reliever) and anxiolytic (anxiety reducer) that can be used during procedures in our office.

Pro-Nox

Is it safe?

Pro-Nox is safe for use during both cosmetic and medical treatments, with a rapid onset and quick resolution once inhalation stops. While rare, some temporary side effects, such as mild dizziness, nausea, or lightheadedness, may occur but typically subside promptly after the treatment. 

After roughly 5 minutes after the treatment ends, you will be safe to drive home from your appointment as well.
